How about a Linux version of your fab app... Linux is seriously lacking a decent CD/DVD writer and DeepBurner will fill the void nicely...

Oh! and how about an option to create DVD-Video discs... handy!

Sorry, can't tell you anything about Linux version of DeepBurner. There're some plans but they seem to be far away from the present time.

Support for DVD video disks is coming hm.. within 1-2 months.

What company makes the best external DVD-R writer? I use DVD SHRINK to rip my dvd's to my computer and they play fine on my computer, but when I burn them to a dvd using NERO, they will hang up, have drop outs and skips. I do not know if my SONY dvd writer is at fault or if my blank dvds (TDK) are the problem. Any suggestions????
